To the Maxx

This week has just flown by.

016

Kale and Kayla got here last night and we all went out to eat and to Wal-mart (of course).  The men in my family seem to enjoy people-watching at Wally-World.  They've even been known to take a cell phone picture of a mullet or two.

I took the day off work today and Kayla and I went to Branson to shop.  We did some serious power-shopping... since we only spent four hours total in Branson.  That's not too bad considering we spent two whole hours shopping at TJ Maxx... how many of you do that??  Oh, how I love that store!

TJ Maxx Be still, my heart!

Have any of y'all seen the new DVD rental kiosks at places like Wal-Mart and McDonalds?

Redbox

$1, plus tax (of course!) will rent you a movie for a day - and they are the new releases!!  That's the neatest thing since sliced-bread.  Wish I'da thought that up!

Very cool, but be careful with the red boxes though. They get your "Debit Card" instead of cash and charge you $1 per day until you return the movie.. Oh yeah, they must not have these in Texas. We rented one in Arkansas (where we live) to watch on our road trip to Dallas over Spring Break...looked in every McDonalds in Texas near and far to return it..no luck. Had to wait til we got back to Arkansas. Weird.

OH T J Maxx is my fav and I could spend HOURS there. I always seem to go when I only have a few minutes to stay. Which is probably a good thing for my pocket book! :-)

Jacquie: HELP!!! I'm trying to change my blog background. I am going onto "Cutest Blog on the block" and I can't get signed on. Did you have trouble?

I use that Little Red Box all the time (when I want something quick that I don't have to wait on Netflix for!) It's at my grocery store so it's easy to return the movies since I am practically at the grocery store every day!!

By the way, NPR stands for National Public Radio. :)

Hi Jacquie. I found you through Kelly. She was my suite mate in college. First of all, I LOVE your header with you family's picture. That is priceless! We just discovered the movie rental box this last week. We haven't used it yet, but we definitely planned to. That was a GREAT idea (whoever thought of it). I'll be back to check in with you. Glad I found your blog.
