Tell Me You Didn't Miss It!

I've had nothing but Olympics on my TV since Friday night and, of course, you know about all the hype behind the Michael Phelps quest for EIGHT gold medals.  So far, he's two for two!  And last night's final event was as exciting as they get.  It came after reports that Team France had been doing a bit of trash talking our talented young swimmers (tisk! tisk!)  The men's 4x100M freestyle relay was possibly the best team effort in history... and there were world records smashed to boot.  I keep playing my DVR to watch it over and over... it was amazing to see!!

If you haven't seen it yet, and I can't imagine that since it's been thoroughly covered on the news, you can watch the race by clicking here

I'm holding my breath for six more golds for Mr. Phelps... and anxiously awaiting the return of Dara Torres, the 41 year old BUFF swimmer competing in her fifth Olympics. That's what I'm talking 'bout!

(Now, that's fit!!)

GO TEAM USA!!!

Lane's had the Olympics on a lot, so I've ended up watching more than I thought I would. Phelps is so cute and amazing to watch! I saw on the news that he's supposed to eat between 8,000 and 9,000 calories a day because he swims so much for training!?! I wish I had that calorie budget! :)
