Weekly Weigh-In

Scale

I had my weekly weigh-in yesterday morning and let’s just say it wasn’t pretty!  The first week, I lost two pounds.  The next week I was exactly the same.  This week I’m back to where I started.

Thanksgiving has left it’s mark!

Losing weight since turning 40 has been more than frustrating for me.  The only thing that keeps me going is knowing I’d be as big as a house if I didn’t eat as well or exercise as hard as I do.

Every cloud has a silver lining!

Tomorrow night is “Biggest Loser” night.  It’s the makeover episode – one of my favorites! There are only 5 people left… who do you think will win?  My guess is … Michelle.  I thought little Amy C. had it in her, but Vicky got the best of her.  It’s Vicky’s turn to head home next.

Do any of y’all watch “Amazing Race”?  I felt SOOO sorry for Toni and Dallas (the Mom and son team).  I was pretty much rootin’ for them to win the whole thing.  They have such a sweet relationship!

I think it’s Nick and Starr’s year though.  They’ve just dominated.  We’ll see Sunday night.

Right after the finale of “Amazing Race” is a Hallmark Hall of Fame movie “Front of the Class”, which was inspired by a true story.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE Hallmark Hall of Fame movies.  It’s the only time I don’t fast forward through commercials, because they’re all so stinkin’ sweet!!

I may be the only one who actually cries at commercials. I even cried at this McDonald’s commercial from 1996...

I love Hallmark commercials and the old Kodak commercials were tear-jerkers too!

I don't watch Biggest Loser but I think it is a great reality show. It's probably one of the best on t.v. We do however watch Amazing Race. We love that show. I was sad to see Dallas and his mom leave too. They obviously have a wonderful relationship and I wanted them to win. I figure Nick and Star will win too. They are just too good!

I'm SO mad at Vicky on Biggest Loser. Amy C. should have voted her off when she had the chance--I knew it would be the end of her when she didn't! I'm cheering for Michelle. I think she is so pretty and sweet. I'm glad she and her Mom have worked out their relationship. I love the make-over night, too--I'm excited about watching it!

Scott and I were just trying to catch up on Amazing Race at lunch. LOVE that show! I could see you and Kale or Tyler doing it! Dad said he wanted him and mom to do it. Ha ha ha ha - I could just see that!
I'm so excited about Biggest Loser tonight!!! I'm rooting for Michelle or Renee. I don't want any of the blue team to win (Bob or no Bob!)
Don't get me started on Vicky....

I love the Amazing Race and I was sad when the mother/son team got came in last. That was a bummer that they lost their money and passports!! I just about cried, too, because he was such a good son & so sweet to his mom!

And...Hallmark commercials...omg, they are always tear jerkers!!

Don't worry about the weight...I know you will get right back on track. You picked the hardest time to try to lose, though!
