It’s Not Even My Birthday

When I went to Kale’s a couple of weeks ago, the first thing he did (after I got my hug) was show me his new Dell laptop computer.  A while back he bought a new Mac desktop computer and generously brought me his laptop to “use” thinking he didn’t have a need for it.  But, later decided he could use one again and didn’t have the heart to tear me away from my newfound “friend”, hence the new laptop.  He let me tinker with it a bit.  It had the neatest little Bluetooth mouse that I thought would be pretty handy to have.

Well today while I was working, the UPS man came in (don’t y’all just love the UPS man?) and brought in a couple packages.  I asked Steve if he’d ordered something and he hadn’t and we saw it was a box from Amazon with my name on it  (so he accused me of buying and forgetting). Because, let me tell you, Amazon is the “gettin’ place”!! Love it!

Well, I tore into my package – and look what I found!

Have I said lately how happy my boys make me??

Speaking of boys, the pictures of Baby Stellan in this post and this post by MckMama today completely tear at my heart and make me weep.  I find it so hard to concentrate while my mind is so often thinking of this sweet family and praying.  Please continue to lift them up!

Awww, that Kale. So sweet :)

And I'm not gonna lie, Kayla let me do regular lunges instead of the one leg up ones. I'm a baby.

That was so sweet! What a neat surprise! I have been praying so hard for baby Stellan and his family. I haven't been able to sleep well the last couple of nights. I think I must be trying to take the night shift with the prayer chain. I just feel so blessed to have a healthy child and don't know what I would do if something happened to her. I would feel like I would lose my mind. I am glad that Jennifer is keeping it together. Seeing a baby hurt or sick is the worst. God is good and in control.

That's precious! Really sweet of him to do! I used to have a mini mouse but it stopped working and I got used to getting by without it!
