036 – A Good Monday

Today was a good day, because…

1) Mondays are busy – that made the work day fly by!

2)  Kale called me before work just to talk – that made me feel special.

3)  I had lunch with Tyler – that made me smile!

4)  Did a little “shopping” with Kayla via texting and email – that made me miss her a little more!

5) My bedding for the new spare bedroom came in – that means the next thing is paint.

6)  Opened a fun thank you card from a high school graduate – that took me on a trip down memory lane.

I snapped my “today photo” this morning after Steve came in to my office and told me to go outside and look at the sky.  My first thought was… “oh great! we’re about to be blown away by a tornado!” But this is what I saw:

060710 (1) 060710 (2) 060710 (3) 060710 (4) 060710 (5) 060710 (6) 060710 (7)

I'm glad you took pictures of the sky this morning!!! Wasn't it amazing....Cortney called me and said, "mom, the sky is kind of freaking me out a little", when I ask her what she meant she said, "it looks like the clouds have been turned wrong side out". When I went outside to look, I thought she had described it perfectly.....never rained a drop here, they finally went away and it was an absolute gorgeous afternoon. God is soooooo good!!!

Sounds like you had a fantastic day yourself. As for me, I've been on the couch all afternoon nursing a headache....hope it's better tomorrow!!!!

Hi. from betsy in Sarasota..
Thanks for visiting my blog. The Power of Half probably have been on Oprah, I don't watch her much. The Plan B book was suggested off Kelly's blog. I really want to get it. But am waiting to finish The Power of Half. The other book Every Monday Matters is great way to give back, too!
My daughter will go to school in Lakeland, a small Christian College and is going into Christian Counseling. So blessed to have such Great Girls who love the Lord! Your blog was good, Molly was in Houston visiting a friend as a graduation present. Back TODAY! YEAH! Look forward to reading more from you! I will update my soon.

That is a gorgeous picture of the sky. It looks like snow capped mountains to me. I know you are so excited for your kids to come for a visit. How fun fixing up that room for them!
