037 – Voting, VBS, and Valspar (Ha!)

036

I did my civic duty and voted in a Primary run-off election today.  Does that mean my answering machine will be able to take a rest now??

This week I’m up to my eyeballs in Vacation Bible School preparation.  Next week, we’ll have between 80 and 100 children at our church learning all about Jesus.  It’s always a fun week!

And I’m officially counting down the days until Kale and Kayla are headed home to Arkansas.  It’s been almost three months since I’ve seen them (and Bosley).  The anticipation is hitting me!!  I’ve got to get their room ready and today I’m narrowing down my paint color.  I got three samples and tomorrow I’ll make the decision.  Do y’all have as much trouble as I do making a paint choice??

I usually know what color I want, but it usually takes me forever to get the perfect shade of the color I want. In other words I have wasted alot of paint in my life!!! LOL

When are the kiddo coming home???

I'm looking forward to VBS, too, but ours in the 2nd week of July. I think we're doing the same one y'all are (Saddle Ridge Ranch). It's going to be so much fun.

As for paint colors, I can usually pick the one I want without too much trouble, but I didn't do so great with the deck stain color...but because it's a special mix I'll have to live with it!

I have trouble deciding paint colors too! I don't change things around often. So if we paint, it is going to stay for a long time. Some people use a lot of bold colors. I love that. I have taupe throughout my whole house. I hope that doesn't scream out BORING to people.Ha!

Ahh yes paint colors. It is not my favorite thing, just because I can never decide and hubby's idea of paint color is white. Thankfully our house had color on our walls when we moved in, now I'm ready for a change as we have lived here six years.

Are the kids just coming for a visit?

Have a Blessed day friend,
Dawn

My problem isn't the paint color choice...it's the painting itself! blessings, marlene
