221–The Good and the Not-So-Good of My Thursday

I have a little antique dresser that David’s grandma gave me years ago. It sits in my bathroom and I used to keep all my perfume bottles on it, but I’ve since discovered that Maddie loves perfume as much as I do.  She LOVES to go in and give herself a little spray here and there… sometimes she even mixes scents.  Last weekend, I put most of my bottles up on my dresser in my bedroom and left four bottles for her in the bathroom.  It took her all of about two minutes to realize something happened to the normal array of bottles.  I told her that I put some up, but those were there for her to use.  That seemed to satisfy her.

I had to laugh this morning when I saw this…

She switched lids on every single bottle.  Funny girl.

I had a nice surprise this morning.  JoJo stopped by my office to bring me a chocolate mocha coffee.  Sweet! Thanks, Jo! (Little things do mean SO much, don’t they, Daisy?)

Thank goodness I got a lot accomplished this morning, because around 11:30 I got a call that Ms. Charlsie had pushed her Lifeline button and we ended up spending the whole day in the Emergency Room.   We did a LOT of waiting and waiting…

We’re still not 100% sure what was wrong with her, but she’s home now and feeling much better.

I would love to hear/know what little girls think sometimes! My youngest used to always tie things together with jump ropes, ribbons, belts, etc! Too funny!

We'll say a prayer for Ms. Charlsie. God love her!

Oh my goodness I know that scared you! I don't even know her but...I know her through you and that means I must know her. :) Did that make sense? It seems as if I should know her and that maybe she lives around the corner. Please keep us posted. Prayers being said. blessings, marlene
