295–How Many Can You Count?

022111

I took this picture with my phone tonight on my way home from work.  It's just a sample of what we see most every day in our neighborhood.  I think we counted about 80 deer one evening on our way out.  It’s just one of the perks of living in the country.

What do you love about where you live??

That's amazing! Almost like they know when deer hunting season ends. :)
We passed a field of turkey's on Sunday and it looked like there were hundreds!

We have deer but we might see 10-12 in a field. The possum eats the cat food off the porch. A skunk was rambling around a few days ago and we see a fox dashing across the yard every now and then (eyeing my chickens, no doubt).

wow, that is so cool! i grew up in the country and at that time hated it because all of my friends were in town. but now looking back, i wouldn't change a thing. i now live in town and live in a subdivision close to just about everything, but i do imagine what it would be like to live in the country with the boys and let them roam free like i did. :) makes me smile envisioning them running and playing carefree. but land here is so dang expensive!!

That is something else! I loved growing up in the country. We live in town now. Thank goodness we go to church in the country and get to see all of the fun things on the way.
