308–Family Tree and Secret Millionaire

030611

Since yesterday’s post, I’ve had my mind on our “family tree”.  I spent the biggest part of this afternoon on www.geni.com – we have an online family tree there.  It goes back to my 7th great grandfathers on the Goulet side there.

SECRET-MILLIONAIRE

I’ve been seeing previews for “Secret Millionaire” for the last several months, so I set my DVR to record it tonight along with “The Amazing Race” and “Army Wives” (poor DVR gets a workout around here!).  Each week the show (similar to “Undercover Boss”) takes an incognito millionaire to one of America’s poverty-stricken areas.  They spend a week working alongside the needy and ultimately decide how to give away at least $100,000 of their own money.  I LOVED it!!! Did you see it??

Hey Jacquie,

I can't believe you are on #308! I bet you are so glad!

Haven't seen the millionaire show but love Amazing Race. Kent and Vyxin just crack us up!

Hope you are doing great!

We love this show and I think it started in England. It's amazing how it really changes the lives of the millionaire plus those they help. :)Enjoy Laura M.

I would love to trace my family tree too! My DVR just might blow up some day since I have so much on there! Are you lovin' Amazing Race? We do! I haven't seen the millionaire show, just previews. Looks like I'd need a tissue!

I love genealogy! My mom and I have traced our family tree to the American Revolution. It is pretty neat what you find out. I think that show sounds awesome. I will check it out.
