My friend, Amy, over at Chapters, is doing a giveaway for a Polar F6 Heart Rate Monitor (I’m needing a new one, by the way). Amy and her husband, Dusty, have started a new business that, as a trainer, I think is so exciting. It’s called “FitLab”, to visit their website click here. They do metabolic assessments. The concept is to do tests to give the client the tools he/she needs to have success in their fitness and weight loss efforts. The tests evaluate how many calories a person needs to eat as well as what heart rate you should be working at to achieve your goals. VERY interesting stuff!!
They also have a Twitter account with some great fitness suggestions, tips, nutrition facts, etc. You can follow them by clicking the button below.
They are located in Peach Tree, Georgia, but Amy does some testing away from home, so if you’re interested, contact Amy for more information.
And just look how cute those Heart Rate Monitors are!!

Thanks! That looks really interesting.
WOW Jacquie,
I REALLY need to get back on the ole watching what I eat and exercising track again. The last few weeks have been really difficult for me and I've put weight back on. Ughhh!!!!!
This sounds really cool!! I probably need a monitor and a metabolic check thingy.
Did I read this right?!! You are a trainer?! So cool!! Maybe you could give me some tips to getting motivated again.
Have a Blessed weekend,
Dawn
Just blog hopping and found your blog....so glad that I did.
I have a GREAT giveaway going through Sunday night...$100 Surprise Gift....with a little Christmas to go along with it.
Oh Jacquie, I think I need one of those too!
I've missed you Jacquie. I got to get reading and catch up with you! I have got to get back on the fitness wagon. Why is it SO hard after vacation?
I have been in a funk when it comes to exercising, but I am putting my foot down (and hopefully the junk food) and have started training for a half marathon. Any tips? It's not doing much good to run a few miles then eat a pack of m&m's ha! Also, did you tell me once it's hard to edit in live writer? If so, then how do you edit? I noticed some typos I wanted to fix but didn't want to mess up my whole post.
