"The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged." (Deuteronomy 31:8)
My Aunt Rosemary went home to be with the Lord yesterday. Thank you so much for all of you who prayed. I know the family appreciates it.
My Mom told me years ago when my my Grandpa died that his death was "a beautiful experience". I couldn't really understand that... and she had a hard time explaining it. But, now I know what she meant.
My Aunt had such a positive outlook from the time the doctor told her that she was sick. She wasn't ready to go. No one is. But, she knew Who's care she was really in.
She had a family who loved her as well. I am so thankful that my cousin, Allison, was able to stay with her for the past several weeks (it may be a month now). She took wonderful care of the mother she loves. I know it meant a lot to her and to the family.
I have learned so much from their example and their courage and strength. They displayed the hope we have in the Lord and clung to His promise to never leave us or forsake us.
I wanted to share some photos of my Aunt. Who reminds me so much of my own mother. I'll miss you, Aunt Ro!!
Mom is on the far left, Aunt Ro is on the far right.
These last two pictures were taken last month

I'm so sorry Jacquie. I know this is a huge loss to your family.
Thankfully this life is nothing compared to the life we have waiting for us in heaven. I'm pretty sure that no one who gets there would ever choose to come back to this life!
Thinking of you and Allison and your family today!
Beautiful Blog, Jacquie. I am praying for your family on their loss. I know she is in a better place and their is no more suffering for her. I can't get over how much Allison and her look alike in those pictures. God Bless!
I, like Renee, can't believe how much Allsion looks like her Mom. Such wonderful pictures of your Mom and Rosemary and all the family. Thanks for sharing something about your aunt with all of us!
Sorry to hear this, Jaquie. I know this is a difficult time for your family. Praise God for victory over death and the promise of eternal life with Him! Great photos--Allison looks SO much like her. Especially in one, I had to look twice (striped shirt with the baby in blue overalls). Thanks for sharing.
