Suzanne #3

Today is my sister Suzanne’s 49th birthday!! She is the third child and the second girl in our family.

Suz and I grew up very close even though there are four years between us.  We’ve been through a lot together and we have a lot of laughs remembering how goofy we were as kids.

Growing up, she was my “partner in crime”.  When I was up to something mischievous… Suz was usually not too far away.  I think it’s safe to say we’ve both learned a lot since then, though.

She and I share a passion for health and fitness. However, she inherited more domestic genes than I did.  Over the years, she’s learned to work with her hands from both of my parents.  She is an avid gardener and loves to cook and bake and try out gourmet recipes.  (I’m all about recipes that call for a maximum of five ingredients!!)  She can sew and upholster, too.   When she and her husband built their home, Suz did a lot of the work herself, including tile work.

I remember when she got her first car in high school (an AMC Hornet, I believe)… you could find her often with her head under the hood working on it.

She’s been there for me throughout my life and I’m blessed to call her my sister!
