I am a little sad today. This evening some movers came and took Kale’s baby grand piano. He’s decided he’s been without it too long and sent for it. Soon, it will be in their study.

Sorry about the sadness. I guess we are all destined to experience the empty nest at some point. But I am sure you raised yours right, so you should be proud.
You should have hopped in the truck and taken a ride to TX with the piano! :)
It will be neat for you to get to see it in their house and hear him play next time you visit!

I bet it did pain your heart a little but at least you can get excited about filling the area.
