Today is my brother, Jim’s, birthday!
He’s the big 5-0!!!
Jim is #2 of 11. And the first boy. He has two sons who have both served in the Iraq war. Cory, his youngest, is still serving actively in the Middle East.
When I was just a kid, I always thought Jim was the coolest… even though he picked on me (and probably all my other siblings) whenever he felt the need to.
I remember him sitting across the dinner table from me and poking his teeth out at me calling me “Bucky”. That was when my teeth were too big for my face… and he knew it.
Ah, brotherly love.
Now, we’re all grown up and Jim is a soft-hearted guy who calls me “sis” when I talk to him on the phone. That alone makes up for all the early years.
Happy 50th Birthday, Jim!! I love you.

What a sweet post! I have a brother Jim, too. He will turn 50 in July. He and my brother Blake were born the same day 9 years apart.
Happy Birthday, Jim!
What a nice tribute to your brother!

Happy Birthday Jimbo!! Thats an awesome sis you got there.
Hey you!
If you havent seen my latest post please make sure you do. It would mean allot to me. I want as many people as possible to read it, so feel free to share it also!
I also just sent an email to Kelly. Who knows when she might get it. I wanted to share Harpers story, and also asked her to post about this new ministry. I just realized you might need to read it before you will understand what I just said. LOL
Anyway, I am hoping to reach many people with it, and show them the many ways that God has worked in their lives. This should help them to see that the teachings of the bible are indeed real, and that there is a greater power. We call Him our Lord.
Love and Prayers Jacquie,
Tim
Yay! Happy birthday, Jim!!!
Happy Birthday to your brother.
Happy, Happy Birthday to your brother! He sounds like a keeper!
Jacquie--I love it that your husband built a cabin by himself! I'd love to see some pictures of it sometime. I'm sure your sons love it and their hunting trips are making a lot of great memories!
Happy Birthday, Jim!
