I got a bit of a kick out of an article on my MSN page today. It was discussing how some movie stars actually look better all dirty (greasy hair, sweaty armpits, and covered in muck). Here were some of the ones I actually had an opinion on:
Viggo Mortensen
My opinion - AGREE!!! I loved Viggo in The Lord of the Rings Trilogy. If he could just sport the "Aragorn" look all the time... he'd get more acting parts.
Johnny Depp
My opinion: NEITHER. No one could do a better "Captain Jack Sparrow" than Johnny - and look good doing it! But just look at him all cleaned up. Now, that's a toss up!
Russell Crowe
My opinion: AGREE. I think Russell's best look was as the Gladiator. That was a great movie!
Daniel Craig
My opinion: NEITHER. It took me a while to get used to the new '007 (I kept thinking I was watching "What Not to Wear"), but by the end of the movie, I was convinced. He looks rather nice in a tux I might add.
Gerard Butler
My opinion: DISAGREE. It's no secret that I have a MAD school-girl crush on Gerard (a,k,a, "the Phantom") Butler. No matter what role he's playing... he looks good! He has the nicest smile. Want to see a sweet movie? See "Dear Frankie" sometime. You'll have to have the captions on to understand their thick Scottish accents... but, it's the sweetest little movie.
Are there any other actors you can think of that look better when needing a bath? I'm thinking Keiffer Sutherland (Jack Bauer) might fit into that category.

Am I going to have to hose you off?
Now,Jacquie, Jack Bauer doesn't have TIME to take a bath......or eat.....or potty....or anything! He's on a tight schedule at all times!
Jacquie, that Kale makes me laugh out loud every time I read his comments! He is so funny!
I think Matthew McCaughnehey would fall into this category definitely!
I agree with Leigh Ann. Matthew McCaughnehey looks pretty good either way though. But I think he likes the grimy look better....I heard he doesn't wear deoderant?? haha Not sure if that's true or not??!!
