I went to Ms. Charlsie’s today and, after sorting her meds, we took a little walk out to the garden. She and David have planted a garden together for several years since her husband passed away in 2000. When Hardy was alive they would plant a garden about twice the size she has now because she “loved to give away vegetables to her neighbors.” She tells me she used to do more canning than she does now, too.
When we first got out there, Sweetie chased a rabbit from the garden, and I told Charlsie about it…
Now, can you see why I love this woman?

I'm thinkin the Charlsie videos should be AT LEAST a weekly thing. Ah, that made my heart so happy!! I can't wait to see her and Miss Sweetie!
We should get one with Lloyd and Boagie (?) too!
