The little white desk is getting its black coat of paint.
I think I may have ruined my little table (can you see it to the rear of the desk?). The top was a little crackled and I sanded it, put on the first coat of paint, let it dry overnight, and turned it upside down this evening to paint the underside. When I flipped it back over, it was peeling up a little. David and I took a paint scraper and started scraping. Underneath the white coat of paint was some sort of a floral decal that looks like it had been wet and it was bubbled. We about got it scraped off and then chunks of the wood started coming off. We can’t get that layer of wood off evenly. So, I dunno, my little $10 table may be a gonner???

Make a scarf out of some cute material!
The desk is looking good! Can't wait to see the room!
Looks good!!
Bosley and I are slowly starting to collect "doggie bags" for the trip! Don't want to make it too obvious! haha
I think the desk looks fantastic. I can't wait to see how the room comes together.
Okay I don't see the chunks of wood you are talking about. I like the black color. That desk is so cute.
Maybe you could get a piece of glass cut to go over the top.
I LOVE that desk!!!
The desk looks great! I sure hope you can salvage your table!
You mentioned my baking in this heat--for me, it's that or drive 40-80 miles to get bread! Our store here in town-20 miles one way-usually has a poor selection. I just resign myself to being hot, LOL!
