Today was a FUN day. I took a picture of Izzy this morning when I first got out of bed. It was dark in the bedroom so it’s not good quality, but you get the idea…
She’s some dog.
Tyler and I made a quick trip to Branson this afternoon to pick up Maddie’s beanbag chair at Target. (I also got a GREAT find at TJM…I’ll try to take a picture of it tomorrow.)
It was a beautiful day and it was so nice to spend an afternoon alone with my baby boy.
This evening, after Daisy got off work, we took the birthday girl for a little 3 year old pampering.
I think watching Maddie get her fingernails and toenails painted was just about the cutest thing EVER!
We finished the night off with a birthday dinner at Chili’s.
They brought out cake and sang to her, but it scared her to death and the poor baby cried and wanted her momma. I took this picture just before the melt down.
Oh, and I got some good news today. Kale’s company has some business for him to do at the University in early October, which means he’ll be within a couple hours of home. He called and told me today that he made flight arrangements to stay another couple days … so I’ll be seeing one half of the K’s in a few weeks. My heart is breaking that Kayla won’t be able to come with him. We’ve got to find a way to get that girl a job that doesn’t require her to work all holidays. And we’ve got to get it done before Christmas.

Fun day for sure!!! I love the pictures of Maddie getting her nails done! :) She is so cute. That's great that you and T were able to spend an afternoon together...I'm sure that was a joy! I laughed about his banana pudding comment--you'll have to make that recipe for him soon!
