198– The Holidays Are Coming

111610 (2)

We had another interesting sky today.

Can you believe Thanksgiving is next week?? This will be my first Thanksgiving without Kale (and Kayla).  Another transition.  Not one that I will like, but it’s life.   What can I say? (except for I miss them something terrible these days).

Christmas is only 38 days away!! I started listening to Christmas music last week and I’m thinking about putting up my tree next week sometime.  I LOVE this time of year.

i LOVE being with yall for Thanksgiving, but umm...well that's our anniversary time! we did NOT think about that when we decided on the wedding date! haha

so, i don't HATE that we will be apart then...but i might just die if we don't get Christmas. seriously. die.

p.s. our anniversary will actually fall on thanksgiving in 2013. we looked it up the other day!

This will be the first year that we will not see either one of our girls. But, I think Alvin and I are going to take a road trip to the beach, so I won't be too sad.....tehehe~

I love the holidays too. I can't believe they are already playing Christmas music on the radio.

I like the holidays, too, but I do wish they would finish one holiday before they start the next one.

I know, it's so hard to think that Thanksgiving is next week. We are doing it a little different this year too. Usually everyone comes here (like 14 or 15 people). I just love having everyone here, but this year because of my surgery, my sisters have decided we're going to have it at my mom's small apartment. It will be fun, but different.

But we are also going to Dick's dads this year. I don't know that we have ever got to be there for lunch, since we always have lunch here for my family. We're really looking forward to it. So it will be different to do a little traveling and rushing around to get everywhere we're suppose to be.

I know you are going to miss K & K so much.

I need to start listening to CHRISTmas music.

Love you friend,
Dawn

I know this will be tough not having the Ks for Thanksgiving. I am thinking about putting my tree up early too. December just goes by so fast!
