017 – Biscuit Bowl

017

This is David’s great grandmother’s old biscuit bowl.  It is one of the things that I have that I treasure most.  David thinks it’s probably from the 1930s… he even remembers watching her stir biscuit dough in it.

Do you have any really old hand-me-downs that you wouldn’t trade for anything??

I have several things that my mom has given me that belonged to my grandmother and great grandmother. I wouldn't take anything for it.

I have my Great-Grandmother Beulah's pink dish that she always made sweet potatoes in for Thanksgiving. It means so much to me, and I love to look at it!!! But we're always too afraid to use it because we might break it! It's in Mom's china cabinet for now--until my kids get bigger. :)

I love it. I have an old gravy boat that belonged to grandma. I wouldn't trade it for anything either.
